Since 1990, The Dodd-Hansen Consulting Group has provided project manuals for more than 1,500 construction projects, of which more than 350 were for public schools, ranging from complete new school campuses to simple additions of relocatable classrooms. The firm has successfully completed multiple projects for over 85 different school districts.
More than 50 of the firm’s projects have been for colleges and universities, and another 30 have been for hospitals. The majority of school and hospital projects have required expertise in the requirements of the California Public Contract Code and the California Building Code. The firm’s master specifications are written to satisfy those requirements.
The group is directed by Kerin Dodd-Hansen, AIA, FCSI, CCS, SCIP and Sheryl Dodd-Hansen, FCSI, CCS, CCCA, SCIP, who are both active in professional organization leadership. When required, other experts are brought in to collaborate on specific projects.
